Inspiration and time, the two go hand in hand. I’m often asks what inspires me as a designer. To tell the truth, everything inspires me. Inspiration is a timeless feature of life, look at the pyramids, the beauty they give off, the stories they tell. Look at the Mona Lisa, timeless and inspirational; it’s a piece of work that has inspired many artists for many centuries. When people ask me what inspires me I tell them everything.

The Gorillaz are a favorite band of mine, the lyrics to their music and the music videos they produce are very original in design and thought. Feel Good Inc. is the first song of theirs that I heard. When I saw the music video, I couldn’t design at the time, now I can and the next group of pictures I design will be some scenes from their music videos. The scene I’ll choose from Feel Good Inc. will be the windmill scene. Poetry inspires me, if you’ve been visiting my site for some time you’ll notice some pictures from a production called Storm. Those pictures helped me learn how to design people in a certain way and I adopted the style. Everyone learns from what they see around them, thus the word influence. Inspiration and influence also go hand in hand. Even death inspires people. If you think about all the mystery surrounding death, fear of death has sparked religions, religions sparked art such as the Sistine Chapel. Now it’s you guy’s turn, tell me what inspires you in the comments, I’m eager to hear.
