So I’ve been making these animations for a while now and have all of the characters done and laid out. I’m going to remake the host because he was my first copy and I’m better at it now. Well here’s some video with some nice classical music in the background to make you feel all fancy and excited about watching this video. Last time you saw The Host. This time I recreated Sarah. It never did get posted on the site, I’ll choose to be optimistic and say it hasn’t been posted yet, but I made this one because they’re fun to recreate and people are impressed by it. This piece was made in Photoshop CS4, with the pen tool and some shape selections. I’m learning how to use Illustrator and it’s going okay, I just have an old version. I made this to replace the minimalistic portfolio layout whenever I feel like it. I got the idea from a tutorial on Six Revisions.

I finished Guitar Central today, so to celebrate, here is some bunny art!

I took some time to figure this out in Photoshop, pretty easy effect to be honest.

-PS. I have no clue why part of the door is white. I couldn’t figure out an easy way to fix it so I just left it that way.

Editing and Cropping aside, this will be the official logo for my website. It’s got a green look which most people relate too, that will make it stick out in people’s minds. At least that was the idea lol.

I also took part in a Sitepoint quiz today after looking through an article. At the end of the article I skimmed there was a quiz on IIS and MWPI (Microsoft Web Platform Installer). I had spent some time about a month ago setting up PHP, ASP.NET, FastCGIm and some other things off of this installer and learned some pretty cool things. The quiz was over just about everything I learned (all 5 questions of it). So I passed the quiz and I’ll be receiving a copy of Microsoft SQL Server 2008 in 6 to 8 weeks, barring all things that could go wrong don’t.
